How long can my dog wear the Help 'Em Up harness?Updated 8 months ago

The harness is designed to be worn comfortably for extended periods of time (6-8 hours). However, we recommend giving your dog breaks when it's not needed, especially during rest. 

Let your pup sleep without it, if possible, to allow their skin to breathe and prevent discomfort.

If your dog needs a quick 3 a.m. potty break, no problem! Just remove the harness once you're back inside. 

When your dog lies down while wearing the harness, consider loosening the straps to prevent hot spots, chafing, or overheating. This can help keep your dog comfortable and avoid irritation.

Keep in mind that some dogs may be tempted to chew on the harness if left unsupervised. We suggest regularly inspecting the harness for signs of wear and tear. 

Be on the lookout for any signs of discomfort, such as hot spots or overheating, and remove the harness immediately if your dog seems bothered. Regular checks can help ensure both comfort and safety while using the harness.
