What is mix-and-match size? Does my dog need it?Updated 6 months ago

As our canine companions age or face health challenges, they may develop muscle atrophy in their hindquarters. Age-related changes or muscle-wasting conditions can lead to a situation requiring a larger front harness but a smaller hip lift harness.

It's also quite common for certain breeds with deep chests and smaller waists, such as Greyhounds, Dobermans, German Shepherds, or Boxers.

We call this harness combination a Mix-and-Match size. For these special cases, we recommend paying closer attention to individual measurements to ensure the best fit and support.

To accommodate these needs, a Mix-and-Match size allows you to create a customized set that perfectly fits your dog's unique body shape and needs.

Please note that while we can mix all sizes and styles for most harnesses, the XS size is currently only available as a complete set in the conventional hip lift style.

By offering this size flexibility, we aim to provide optimal comfort and support for dogs of all shapes, sizes, and conditions. Whether your furry friend needs uniform sizing or a custom mix, we're here to help you find the perfect fit.
